“Nobody’s singing the harmonies, up there just me and my shadow, no bass, no guitar, no tambourine.” Old Dominion, “One Man Band”

Hey gang, welcome back to another TCT weekly update! Let’s get rolling.

There’s Solace in Discord

Things have been running pretty nicely lately, smooth sailing, as they say. We’re seeing more fresh faces, and plenty of new requests for help, don’t be scared to jump in and help out! You were new once too, and this place can be daunting for the uninitiated. Show the new folks what TCT is all about and lend a hand! Who knows, you might make a new friend, or meet someone on the same track as you.

Solo Legendary All Skulls On

So in the background, for what feels like ages, our newly appointed Iron Lord Aireyalis has been throwing himself at a brick wall, over and over and over again.

That brick wall being solo Argos, the final boss of the Eater of World’s raid. This solo challenge is especially difficult, requiring precise timing and unbelievably high DPS (Damage Per Second). You’ll hear about other bosses in the game being solo’d and while these are impressive in themselves, Argos presents a unique challenge. Normally a 6 player activity, it requires that you not only fight off adds on your own, but also juggle the mechanics, dodge Argos’ attacks, and still maintain your DPS. It’s enough to drive anyone insane.

And let me be the first to tell you, Aireyalis is INSANE.

The mad lad pulled it off, pushing his titan against the grain, and finally coming out on top, you can see it for yourself in his video here.

We are so incredibly proud, job well done Air! Truly incredible!

Did… Did They Just Nerf Eververse???

ICYMI The TWAB last week had some pretty big news! I’ll link the article here.

Essentially they’re reworking the whole cosmetics as loot system, and while there’s way too much for me to get into here, I assure you it’s worth checking out if you feel like the game has been lacking incentive lately.

For a long time it’s felt like Bungie treated Eververse like it was taboo for them to talk about. Understandable, when money is the topic it can become a point of contention that sours relationships. Even a relationship with a community. However, in this TWAB they go in depth and explain the reasoning behind the changes.

I’m personally excited for the changes, and can’t wait to see what’s next for Destiny 2.

Complete Completions of Completeness

Here are the completions from last week! Great job guys!

Thank you all for everything you do, you’re killing it, and I’m so proud. <3

SUNNY. YOU SMILED AND REALLY EASED THE PAIN

It’s Warframe time gang! Here’s sunny with an update from the Warlords:

“Things are still changing over at the TCT Clan. We are currently looking into our recruitment methods and looking to update our standards and practices. When this is locked down look forward to many new tenno. We will be allowing more than just the Warlords to do active recruitment but the rules around that are still coming together. I’m excited for even just this one change. I can’t wait for the others.

To wit, our new Warlord, Cosmic, is also doing some of this heavy lifting and I, Sunny Pigtails, think she’s doing an exceptional job coming into this role.

Warframe is a game you can quickly get burnt out on either by trying to be a completionist or want to get that one weapon, frame, companion to be as perfect and end-gamey as possible. But the one that keeps a lot of us here even when approaching that burnout is the community.

So …

Please bear with us as we grow, standardize and overall make this an even better place for everyone.”

Thanks Sunny! Man what a cool dude, and an awesome team! Thank you guys for all that you do!

Wow, Are You Done Yet?

Yes, I’m done, holy heck that was a long update. Thank you guys for tuning in, and showing some love. Sometimes those reactions on the announcements page really fuel my want to write more. Thank you for the support, and until next time, I’m Main, and I’ll see you star side. <3
