Yikes. So here is part two to this week’s (quarter’s?) update. And we have some more announcements to make and people to celebrate!
Onwards and Upwards
So, there have been some very recent changes to share. Our community is always moving forward. The first is that we are almost a level 3 boosted server again. Almost. You guys are amazing and we are reserving the right to request emotes to both our boosters and our supporters.
Secondly, we’ve had a few promotions. Jet and Dread both became members of The Nine not too long ago. Storm and Chiron joined the ranks of the Lords and only today, Sunny has stepped up into the position of Ghost. It’s a lot of moving at we welcome all our staff into their new positions.
TCT also has gained Discord Community status. New members will now see a welcome screen to help direct them:
Actually, while I’m here, there are some stats we shared with staff that we are very proud of. And that is your activity. There is a lot more we are proud of, but this has been the last WEEK at TCT:

It’s a fashion fiesta!
So, in part 1, Storm mentioned the Fashion Frame contest. Honestly, he wrote that update for me a couple of days ago so here are your winners!

From One Lord to the Other
So, every update, we have had the Warlords write a bit. We decided, rather than us always pushing Destiny, we would have the Iron Lords give you something. Today’s comes from our latest Iron Lord, the one and only Chiron!
Greetings, Guardians!
In the past weeks we could all farm some of that sweet looking Solstice of Heroes armor and get some dope glows aswell as enjoy the EAZ again. Did you finish your armor set, or buy the ornaments that only require the blue sets completion? If not don’t worry – there is still time, as the last week of Solstice is about to start.
This week’s Grandmaster nightfall, one of the hardest activites in the game, is “A Garden World”. We all know GMNFs are a force to be reckoned with as a fireteam of 3, but the madman VexRequiem casually soloed it! Is he TCT’s own Eosterickk?
Awesome job buddy, hats off to you good Sir.
Other than that, since the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion “Beyond Light” has been delayed – it now launches on November 10th – there is not much on the roadmap for Destiny… but who knows, maybe Bungie has one or two surprises for us in store?
But that gives you plenty fo time to get all the raids (that are being vaulted) off your checklist, aswell as grab some oft hat sweet raid loot or finish off all those planetary quests that you haven’t done yet.
If you are new, don’t know where to start, or are completely clueless about a raid, fret not, we at TCT have some great people who are willing to sherpa you through every possible activity in Destiny. Just ask away in the lfg channels, or let us know in our destiny channels! We’ll try our best to set up an event, overcoming the sometimes annoying different timezones. We will get you through it all

School’s Out! Wait…
Another change is our recent implementation of the Sherpa-in-Training (S.I.T.) program. We know there are many of you pursuing sherpa, but TCT does things a little differently. While anyone can teach, our tested sherpas are held to high standards. There are no carries. If with one of our sherpas, you can expect to be trying everything. For our most promising members, to polish and refine their already amazing talent, we are having them in training ahead of their sherpa test, allowing us to better guide, feedback and support their development. So don’t be afraid to ask them for help! They are expanding their portfolio so that we can see they are truly ready.
In the meantime, you can let us know you are interested in being a Mercenary or SIT once you have been with us for 6 months. Mercenaries are those who will jump in and help with anything (look for that tell-tale orange).

Welp, I think that’s everything… honestly, I have probably missed one thing or another. But it’s been a long ride to get this far. I was going to share more pictures but may follow up with a PotM post instead in the coming days. I see a LOT of Destiny completions, which is absolutely amazing. But please remember to share every amazing and cool moment in ANY game in #capture-gallery. Clan mum needs some variety in her diet 😘
