“Heroes are made by the paths they choose, not the powers they are graced with.”
~ Brodi Ashton
It’s been a while, and TCT has gone through some cuts and growths. People have been busy and, considering that it has been two three(!!!) months since our last update, I honestly had no idea where to start!!! Honestly, this is gonna be a two-parter as there is just TOO MUCH and I don’t want some important events getting lost! So…. throwback and then we’ll come forward.
The Age of Heroes
We had and completed an amazing Destiny vs Warfame event. The Orokin Vault last graced our community last August. This year, it was a huge push on the Warframe side and, while the first two weeks were very close for both games, they pulled it out to decimate the Destiny players. It was not what we were expecting and the overwhelming victory will affect how the event runs next year. The WF side of our community were so much more engaged and invested and Destiny couldn’t ride on just a few coattails this year.
Congratulations, guys! And an amazing victory picture!!!
New Arrivals
It seems fitting that as Destiny entered the Season of Arrivals, so did we a) purge and b) start recruiting. We have had a flood of new people both for Warfame and for Destiny. It has been a real pleasure to meet and play with new faces and I’m enjoying the flood of craziness that this community has come to embrace. This does come with challenges, of course, but during a time where our main games often have downtime as people rest, it has been a strong and engaging time. The mood is lighter and despite the happenings in the world, we have a real sense of togetherness. Thank you all for making that possible.
A word from our Warlords
Our Warlords have grown. The wonderful Goat Man (Storm) has joined their ranks. Since he has put so much into starting our alliance and his promotion is much deserved.
Hey everyone!
The Heart of Deimos update is out! It brings a new open-world for us to explore, Necromechs, A new community designed warframe and much more!
Cosmic’s fantastic fashion frame contest has just closed and I hear the judges really struggled with choosing whom is the best. You’ve all done a wonderful job participating!
Anti-Violet is still the next pick on the Dojo Colors, so make sure to check out the Warframe News channel to see more about that. Its not an easy color, But we still need it done! (Annnd its purple mannn)
I think I speak for all the Warlords when I say, “Thank you so much”, for participating in our rowdy events. It means a lot to us to see the activity and it means so much more to see people having fun. We really love our Tenno and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you guys so much!
-Your speedy scrappy Warlord,
Storm
Thanks, Storm! Part 2 of this update will bring more about the winners of our fashion frame!
A Special Arrival
I would be remiss not to acknowledge the efforts of our own Jambo who has been working once again on our TCT Merchandise.
This year, in addition to the T-shirts and mug, we have facemasks! Very topical in today’s day and age and look fantastic. You can find our options here: https://teespring.com/tct-gaming-apparel-is-a-go?. The merch I have seen you guys post so far has been amazing!!!
Thank you!
A lot of our time and energy goes into this community, and we seldom get to take some downtime for ourselves. That said, so much wouldn’t be possible without our supporters. Major thanks go to:
Vanguards: Hiei, BrutalMoose, Jerry, njm156, Dysentery Gary, Storm and tonyhanhjw
Insiders (Ordis’ Cherished): Jet, Evo, KingJ_exe, MSNeedsGuns, TY, TeddyNeko, Wiwa and ohsosoxy
Supporters: CypherDragon, Dortega24, Dread, Galliewok, JoelOtter, Witch, Johnny and m01100001x (and Rob, but like… duh?)
Special mentions: German Kyle and wiskyMk
You guys make so much possible and help us maintain the community. We literally couldn’t do this without you!
And to our Nitro Boosters who provide us with server perks and make the experience better for everyone!!!
FirstNameBasis_, Galliewok, Hiei, Jerry, Nocturnal, Sojourner, Storm, TeddyNeko, Wiwa, jema810 and Johnny
Picture Perfect
Normally, I would put completions here, but in the last month alone there have been so many, between raids and dungeons and all sorts that this would quickly overwhelm the post. Instead, I want to look at some of the amazing in-game photography we have seen of late:
