Hello everyone, welcome back to another TCT weekly update! Only a couple days late this time, we’re back on schedule. Anyway, let’s get into it,
The First Part of the Final Fantasy BUT IT’S ALSO THE 7th ONE BUT IT’S A REMAKE
So last week we saw the release of a game many people have been waiting years for, a classic game brought up to modern standards; The Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Many folks are busy chipping away at it, and some are waiting until it’s in the budget (me!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭). The game looks absolutely stunning, and even rpg fans out there that haven’t played a FF game yet should check it out.
It’s not your typical turn based ordeal, with real time combat akin to Kingdom Hearts or even Dark Souls to an extent. Also if this being part 1 makes you nervous, just know that it’s a full 60 hour game, with its own “ending”. If you wanna try before you buy, there’s a free demo in the PlayStation Store.
The Slowest of the Downtimes
Destiny has hit a lull, it happens around this time every year. A lack of new PVE content and a PVP focused endgame from this season has left the community high and dry. People are playing other games, and playing catch up on some of the other seasons content. Now is the time to grind out those seals! Oh and Iron Banner is back for the second time this season, if you missed out on the new ritual weapon, Point of the Stag, here’s another opportunity to snag the Stag.
Oh Yeah, Babyyyyy; Raids Raids Raids
We had a few first time raid completions, @Rob got his sparrow, and Mr_Anderson got that solo Pit of Heresy (seriously congrats man, it’s not easy!) this past week check it out!:
Holy heck do I love a good first raid! Thanks to our sherpas and the teams they run with to make these first time raids happen! If you wanna learn, reach out, we’re always happy to teach. <3
No, It Wasn’t Me! I’ve Been (war)Framed!
Our Warframe side is still running strong, with groups forming and farming and trading. Here’s a a quick update from SunnyPigtails:
“Tenno! Scarlet Spear is well underway! We hope you’re grinding for your arcanes and new weapons. There is time though so don’t over do it.
As for clan news we’re having a Scarlet Spear competition. The tenno that makes it to the top of either the ground or space missions for a flotilla will earn themselves a limbo or oberon prime. If you’re a vet that is sponsoring you’ll get from your choice of 2 warframe slots or 4 weapons slots. So get in there and compete!
We hope everyone is staying safe!”
Thanks Sunny!
On the outside looking in, things look great, I get the feeling of community and togetherness whenever I scroll through the chats. One name sticks out to me though, and that’s Cosmic. She has time and time again shown compassion and the drive to help newcomers and the family at large. Offering a helping hand, and a guiding light, we want to take a moment to thank her for the contributions she’s made. Thank you for embodying TCTs ideology and really holding true to our Values, Cosmic, you’ve been awesome!
